Amongst the Muhammadian leaders
prominently comes into sight the character of Ammar bin Yasir
(May Allah be pleased with him). He is regarded one of the first
companions of the Prophet who tolerated a great deal of harm and
pain for the Islamic cause.
It is he who also witnessed the
immigration with the noble Prophet and performed the prayers of
both frontal directions in addition to what he witnessed with the
noble Prophet in the battles for the sake of preserving the
Islamic religion.
Ammar is regarded one of the
special character in whom the Prophet has laid strategic weight
and after the Prophet as well. He also has had positive,
historical firm stands about recognizing the divine right of
Ali's in holding the Imamate as well as of his being endowed with
bravery crowned with wisdom and good manners.
What the noble Prophet of
mercy said on behalf of Ammar is: "Ammar has been filled from
head to feet with faith and that his faith has been mixed with
his body and his blood."
This say of the Prophet (P.B.U.H.)
on speaking well of Ammar bin Yasir was not appealing to the
"wrongful group" which hastened his death.
Thus, Ammar returned to his Lord
who bestowed on him an honorable ending crowned with benevolent
martyrdom for the sake of raising the Word of Islam with the
Prince of the Believers Ali (P.B.U.H.) after he had done his best
in killing the hypocrites, the falsifiers and wrongdoers and been
written as a martyr between the hands of the Imam of his time in
the battle of Siffin.
