The divine mercy and heavenly
fairness necessitated the existence of multiplicity of religions,
messengers, heavenly messages according to their due
chronological and locational sequence of conditions and such a
sequence is only determined by their sociological legal deeds to
the extent of not leaving a gap in any age of the ages by being
empty of a legislature which can govern its society or preventing
it from establishing the proof of Allah over the
people.
As an ultimate outcome, all
previous heavenly religions before Islam like Judaism and
Christianity have paved the way to achieve the human perfection
within stages and long paces.
When the overwhelming majority of
human society has become worthy of achieving a higher stage, it
became incumbent upon the legislator to award it that higher
stage and that same "stage" has been Islam and rather the last
ring in the project of perfection.
For all that, we find the broad
lines of these religions as having much in common with regard to
the unified objective which brings all religions closer to one
another; notwithstanding the distinguished merits of Islamic
religion as to what it owns of hosts of judgments and sublime and
diverse kinds of knowledge free from defect, confusion or forgery
in addition to its comprehensive dimensions and eternality ; and
this necessarily makes it an exclusive means of salvation in
addition to His miraculous Book which has been kept away from
aversion and, unlike the other books and makes us say" that
religion is but one while legislatures are numerous amongst which
are: Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
